NW City Matters – Community Townhalls with Councillors Fontaine & Minhas

Your Voice. Your City. Your Future.

Starting this fall, the NWP is launching NW City Matters — a brand-new series of 12 community townhall meetings between October 2025 and June 2026.

Building on the success of their Councillor Café events, this new series will give residents even more opportunities to connect directly with Councillor Daniel Fontaine and Councillor Paul Minhas.

What to Expect

  • Open Conversations – Bring your questions, ideas, and concerns about the future of New Westminster.

  • Local Focus – Each townhall will cover key issues affecting our neighbourhoods such as housing, safety, affordability, transportation, and much more.

  • Accessible & Welcoming – Everyone in our community is invited. No registration required — just drop in!

Why It Matters

Your city government works best when it listens. These townhalls are designed to ensure your voice is heard, and that together we can shape the future of New Westminster.

Dates & Locations

  • The first NW City Matters townhall will take place in October 2025, with monthly sessions through June 2026.

  • Full schedule and venues will be posted on our events page soon.
